Senator Markey’s re-election campaign was my first official introduction to working in politics and it was an invaluable experience. I became a fellow on his campaign because I saw a congressman who listened to his constituents and was on the side of progress. Now, as we witness an apartheid and genocide in Palestine, it was imperative that we call for a ceasefire at the very least — for the sake of progress and for the sake of humanity.
